Life with Ella and Emerson

This is a blog dedicated to my beautiful daughters, Ella and Emerson. Emerson was diagnosed with a rare, genetic disorder called Williams Syndrome when she was 5 months old.

The Walker with Attitude!

Thanks everyone for your positive comments. I am out of my funk and life is back to normal. I think I freaked a few people out in my family with my last post. No, I definitely do not feel that way most of the time. In fact, those feelings surprised me. I'm sure they will surface again, but hopefully not for awhile.

Emerson is now walking more than she is crawling. Here is a cute video of her walking. You also can see her new little attitude she has developed. In this instance, she did not want Ella to help her and then came over to me to complain. Ahhhh, the sibling rivalry begins!

She looks so much like Michaela did at that age, it's incredible. We got your Christmas card yesterday and both Michaela and my husband were amazed how much they look alike! Same "attitude" also!!!!

Ella was making me laugh so hard, so funny. Emerson is so adorable and doing great on walking! Yes our kids do have attitude, when Avery's surfaces I always seem surprised, she isn't short on opinions. Thanks for sharing your video and I am glad you are feeling better. I felt so bad for you yesterday knowing you were so sad, and I couldn't come up with the right words of encouragement, so I guess just know that there are people out there supporting you as time goes on and hoping you come out on top.
XOXO

Glad you are feeling better. I think Noah needs a play date with Emerson to get busy walking. To bad we don't live anywhere near you. I love the attitude. Trust me I have 3 girls who are full of attitude, you are going to have your hands full. :)

Seems we all slump here and there...I have given up trying to fight it, for the most part, and let it ebb and flow because there is always something better around the corner. Like you said, you have to be open to it. This month has been horrendous for me, but I have no idea why and know January will bring happier days.

Your girls are so beautiful! I loved the video!

I love watching the videos of the younger kiddo's. It takes me back, and I can almost imagine that it's caleb I'm watching. Emerson made a few faces that looked exactly like him at that age! Your girls are gorgeous! I love that Emmy wants to be so independant :) Keep going Emerson!!!! so glad you're feeling better Nicole...
